Friends‘ is widely considered one of the most iconic shows of all time, known for its memorable characters, interesting storylines, and more. It follows the lives of six adults living in Manhattan, as they indulge in adventures which make their lives troublesome, as well as exciting. Starring Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer, ‘Friends‘ ran for ten seasons, from 1994 to 2004.

During Schwimmer’s recent appearance on Matt Lucas and David Walliams’ ‘Making a Scene’ podcast, he opened up about not being a big fan of the show’s theme song, ‘I’ll Be There For You‘ by The Rembrandts.

“I’ll be really honest, there was a time for quite a while that just hearing the theme song would really,” he said, pausing as he struggled to say the right words. The actor sighed before adding, “You know what I mean? I just had that reaction. I mean, I just had heard it so many times.”

Things changed when his daughter, Cleo, started watching and liking the show when she was nine years old. “I’d be making breakfast or whatever, and I’d hear my kid’s laughter. My whole relationship to that song and the show changed,” he said.

David played the role of Ross Geller in the hit HBO series. On the other hand, Matthew Perry played the role of Chandler Bing, Courteney Cox played Monica Geller, Jennifer Aniston played Rachel Green, Matt LeBlanc played the role of Joey Tribbiani, and Lisa Kudrow played Phoebe Buffay.

Last year, ‘Friends‘ celebrated its 30th anniversary.
