Calgary police are investigating the death of a father and daughter on Sunday night as a double homicide and believe it’s the result of a domestic incident.

At about 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 29, police were called to a home in the 0 to 100 block of Kincora Grove N.W.

Officers found a deceased man in his 70s.

As police investigated, a second victim who was believed to be the man’s daughter, a woman in her 30s, was found dead in a home at 11:15 p.m. in the 300 block of Tuscany Ridge Heights N.W.

Police say there is no risk to the public as both deaths are believed to be targeted and domestic in nature.

No suspects have been arrested, but investigators are looking for a black Nissan Pathfinder with Alberta licence plate CLN 5276, believed to be driven by the woman’s spouse.

No additional details are available at this time.
