Hwang In-Youp, Bae Hyun-sung, and Jung Chae-yeon’s K-drama ‘Family By Choice’, which is the remake of the hit Chinese drama ‘Go Ahead’, has finally come to an end but fans aren’t ready to say goodbye just yet and so are we. It follows Kim Sanha, Kang Haejun, and Yoon Juwon, who are not related by blood but were raised as a family since childhood.

They endure a decade-long separation while dealing with emotional baggage of their own but things get complicated when they reunite. Nothing feels the same for the central trio, the love they once shared turns into awkwardness. Yoon Juwon treats the other two merely as strangers until slowly they heal and mend their relationship. And we bet their journey is sure to make you cry buckets just like the fans who are finding it too hard to bid adieu to the show.

Many have taken to social media to heap praises on ‘Family By Choice’. A user on X wrote, “I never thought I’d fall in love with a series again. Family By Choice is one of the best k-dramas, beautifully weaving together stories of family, friendship, & love. From heartwarming moments to the struggles of life’s ups and downs, it captures it all with sincerity and depth.”

Another explained, “Finally finished FamilyBy Choice & the show was phenomenal everyone that deserved a happy ending got it (Sanha momma is the worst IDC) but I’m glad ahjussi got married, & I’m obsessed with the dads friendship fr. But this trio was the best I’mma miss them.”

One more joined the bandwagon, “This drama was an emotional roller coaster for me. I learned a lot from them. Most importantly, they showed us what a real family means, I’m so glad to meet all these beautiful characters. You mean everything to me!”

Meanwhile, a fan praised the ending writing, “All the warm feelings from this ending. I love love this show so much. Considering it wasn’t on my radar at all, but it ended up giving me so much joy. Thank you, Family By Choice.”
