Juwon (Jung Chae-yeon) in ‘Family By Choice’ shouldn’t think about dating anyone except Sanha (Hwang In-youp) because his irresistible “jealous oppa” persona will make you go crazy. And it’s not just me, the entire K-drama fandom is currently talking about it. Episodes 3 and 4 of Go Ahead’s Korean adaptation, which premiered last week, didn’t just bring us chaotic family drama but also dropped a glimpse of In-youp’s jealousy era.

It all began when Juwon received a love letter and bragged about it in front of her oppas: Haejun (Bae Hyun-sung) and Sanha. While Haejun’s immediate reaction to the revelation was quite protective toward his soul sister, Sanha merely clenched his teeth and acted nonchalant. Needless to say, the moment has gone viral on the internet.

Additionally, when Juwon’s crush finally interacts with her, Haejun who’s watching over them in secrecy feels a bit relaxed that the boy is good-natured and a class rep. However, Sanha standing behind him doesn’t seem too excited.

Amid the jealousy arc, also stealing the limelight was Juwon and Sanha’s heart-to-heart conversation, where she unknowingly saves her oppa from being paranoid. Well, let’s just say the scene now has a separate fandom of its own.

Meanwhile, a lot has happened in episodes 3 and 4, Haejun meets his biological father who he had no clue even existed. Sanha’s toxic mother returns 10 years after abandoning him. She’s adamant about taking him to Seoul which he disagrees with. If that wasn’t enough, another emotional spiral will hit ‘Family By Choice’ next week when Haejun’s estranged mother will also return, pushing the already chaotic family into more chaos.
