‘Euphoria‘ fans who have been waiting for an update on the third season of the series, we have good news. HBO/Max boss Casey Bloys has revealed that ‘Euphoria‘ season 3 will go on floors in January 2025 as planned.
Speaking with the reporters at an HBO/Max press event on Tuesday (November 12), he said, “We are shooting ‘Euphoria‘. I think we have a start date, mid to late January. Nothing’s changed.” He further stated that the rumours about ‘Euphoria 3‘ getting delayed are false.
“We are shooting the season. I have read the scripts. We’re happy. We’re moving ahead. All of the actors are in the show,” added Bloys.
Zendaya, who plays the role of Rue in ‘Euphoria‘, has interesting projects in her kitty. It was recently announced that she would be joining Christopher Nolan’s new film, which is reportedly set to begin shooting in early 2025. That’s not all. The actress could also be reprising her role as MJ in ‘Spider-Man 4‘. On the other hand, Jacob Elordi, who plays Nate Jacobs in ‘Euphoria‘, is set to star in Emerald Fennel’s ‘Wuthering Heights‘, which will begin shooting in 2025.
Addressing the busy schedule of the stars, Casey said, “I know they have serious projects that they are working on, but we are shooting this season, so nothing has changed.”
He also revealed that ‘Euphoria‘ season 3 will have eight episodes. Apart from Zendaya and Jacob, the upcoming season also stars Sdyney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Storm Reid, Alexa Demie, and Eric Dane.
