Anime fans haven’t gotten over The Hashira training arc of Demon Slayer aka Kimetsu no Yaiba but there’s some good news for everyone. The final arc dubbed Infinity Castle of the popular anime TV adaptation based on Koyoharu Gotouge’s Japanese manga will be released exclusively in theaters. More importantly, the first film in the series will hit the cinema houses in 2025.

The upcoming arc will witness its premiere in an epic trilogy of films distributed by Crunchyroll in collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment worldwide. The Infinity Castle arc marks the beginning of the end of Tanjiro Kamado’s story and we also have a trailer for it now.

Needless to say, fans are going wild over the first glimpse.

The final episode of the Hashira training arc, titled The Hashira Unite, was released on June 30. Majorly the central plot was focused on Tanjiro Kamado and his comrades undergoing brutal training from all the Hashiras to prepare for the ultimate fight against the Demon King. The season ended on a heartbreaking note with the slaying of the Ubuyashiki family members, the founders and the current management of Demon Slayer Corps.

The event kick-started a long night of confrontation against Muzan, the main villain and his Upper Moon demon forces, which will be covered in detail in the Infinity Castle Arc. The explosive blast at the Ubuyashiki residence has all the Hashiras pumped for revenge. Their main aim is to keep fighting Muzan until dawn breaks because the only thing that can kill him is the first light of the day.

The anime’s central story revolves around the life of Tanjiro Kamado, whose entire family is slain with the only remainder of his relative being sister Nezuko, who transforms into a demon. Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps to find a way to turn her back into a human again.

The release date of Demon Slayers’ trilogy of films has not been disclosed yet.
