BTS’ Jin recently appeared on Jang Do Yeon’s show ‘Salon Drip 2’ and shared exciting details about one of the songs from his upcoming solo album ‘Happy‘.
The K-pop idol revealed that he wrote ‘I Will Come To You‘ lyrics and called it a fan song. “When I was serving in the military. I really wanted to go home, work, and meet my fans. So I decided to make use of my time and made a huge list of different ideas. And starting from the day after I was discharged, I wrote the lyrics of my fan song,” shared Jin.
He added, “It was my first time writing lyrics for an entire song but I did it just in a day or two. I packed the song with my longing. 30% of the lyrics are from the ideas I wrote in the military.”
For the uninitiated, Jin’s ‘Happy‘ will be released on November 15. The album will feature six tracks. The pre-release single titled ‘I’ll Be There‘ was released on October 25, and received a positive response.
Jin was discharged from the military in June of this year. His fellow BTS member J-Hope returned from the military in October. RM, Suga, V, Jimin, and Jungkook will complete mandatory military service in 2025. In 2026, the members will make a group comeback.
