Dancer-turned-musician J-Hope is opening up about the struggle he faced after completing his military service. The renowned idol, who is a part of the K-supergroup BTS, admitted in an emotional letter that the months leading up to his discharge were quite difficult. But for him, the way to overcome challenges is to keep going on.
In the letter posted on Weverse, J-Hope expressed he “was at a loss” thinking about how things will turn out for him. “I didn’t know how to endure it till October (The month he was discharged)..I was worried about my plans after I would be discharged from the military.”

But the BTS rapper is hopeful as he welcomes 2025. He noted, “It’s going to be a very important year for me.” He continued, “Once discharged, an indescribable joy took over, and as I wrapped up the year, I found myself both tense and thrilled for 2025.”

J-Hope added “Everyone may have experienced their own joys and sorrows this past year, but I hope we can take a moment to reflect warmly on 2024. For 2025, I wish for everyone to bloom beautifully. For me, it feels like 2025 will be a very important year, something I can sense deeply in nature. I will show you many things.”
The K-pop idol wishes for everyone to “bloom” in the New Year.
