After entertaining 80,000 fans at Global Village Dubai over the weekend, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan attended a DAMAC event on Tuesday, January 28. Needless to say, the night didn’t go without him doing his signature arms-open romantic pose. But that’s not all. The Pathaan actor also spoke candidly about the one thing that he finds common between him and the Emirates of Dubai.

“Just like Dubai and the people of Dubai, I don’t know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing but it’s a nice thing I believe: I do not sleep in the night. This is the city, this is the place that doesn’t sleep either,” said Shah Rukh Khan before adding, “We are all working, which I am doing all the time, or entertaining and having a great time. I think that’s what is common between me and Dubai. We don’t sleep at night,” he repeated.

The Bollywood icon attended the event looking dapper in a stylish suit paired with statement sunglasses and formal shoes. At one point during the event, he also dropped major words of wisdom, inspiring everyone to live in the moment.

“I tell everybody please live for today, live as if this is your first day at work and the last day of life. You should enjoy it like that,” said Shah Rukh Khan.

The Bollywood superstar last made his big screen appearance in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’, which was followed by his dubbing stint for the character Mufasa in ‘Mufasa: The Lion King.’ Shah Rukh Khan will soon begin shooting ‘King’, an action-packed film directed by Siddharth Anand.
