Big crowds take in Amherstburg Santa Claus Parade

Parade watchers lined the route in large numbers in downtown Amherstburg Saturday night to take in the 16th annual Santa Claus Parade.

A large contingent of floats and bands travelled the route on a crisp fall evening, with Santa and Mrs. Claus bringing holiday cheer to the crowds on Sandwich, Richmond and Dalhousie streets for the finale.

Afterwords, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops along the route were jammed with people celebrating the coming of the Yuletide season.
