Ever since Tom Holland confirmed that ‘Spider-man 4‘ is happening, a lot has been said about the film. There have been rumours of Anya Taylor-Joy joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to play the role of Black Cat. But are the rumours true?

According to Comic Book Movie, producer Amy Pascal addressed the rumours at a recent event. She said, “She would be fantastic. She’s amazing but we’re not quite at that stage yet. There are a lot of fantastic female characters, but I can’t talk about all this.”

According to the media portal, Marvel Studios may take cues from ‘Spider-Man: The Animated Series’. They might introduce Felicia Hardy, Peter’s college classmate, and her alternate persona, Black Cat.

Anya Taylor-Joy is also rumoured to play the role of Gwen Stacy. While there is no confirmation on whether Anya will be joining ‘Spider-Man 4‘, the excitement for the upcoming film is high among fans.

During Holland’s appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ in October, he revealed an exciting tidbit about the upcoming superhero film. The actor shared, “Next summer, we start shooting. Everything’s good to go – we’re nearly there. Super exciting. Yeah, I can’t wait!”

Zendaya is likely to come back as Michelle ‘MJ’ Jones. ‘Spider-Man 4‘ is expected to be released in 2026.
