Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is known as one of the most humble actresses in Bollywood. She recently attended the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) Utsavam 2024 in Abu Dhabi. Several photos and videos of the actress have gone viral on social media. One video from the event that grabbed the most attention shows Aishwarya consoling an emotional host who broke into tears after meeting her.
In the viral video, the host gets teary-eyed and confesses that it was her dream to meet the actress. “It is a dream come true moment for me,” she says. Touched by her heartfelt confession, Aishwarya is seen consoling her by saying, “Aww, oh my God.” She then hugs her.
Reacting to the video, a fan wrote, “So classy so humble.” Another fan commented, “She is really very sweet and humblest of all very sweet of her.” “Awwww,” wrote a fan.
Aishwarya attended the awards ceremony with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. For IIFA Utsavam 2024, she wore a black and golden outfit. The event was special as she won the Best Actress (Tamil) award for her performance in ‘Ponniyin Selvan II‘. While accepting the award she said, “I am very grateful that I got to work with him (Mani Ratnam) for my first movie. I was so honoured that he asked me to be his Nandini in Ponniyin Selvan.”

The actress is yet to announce her next project.
The 24th edition of IIFA took place in Abu Dhabi from September 27 to September 29. The event kickstarted with IIFA Utsavam, followed by IIFA Awards, hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, and Karan Johar. Several Bollywood celebrities including Janhvi Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Rekha, and Ananya Panday among others performed at the awards night.
