The internet was filled with speculation that Teen could be Wiccan aka Billy Kaplan, a sorcerer and the reincarnation of Scarlet Witch’s son. And Agatha All Along has confirmed the popular Teen theory in episode 5, titled Darkest Hour/Wake Thy Power. The biggest reveal arrives in the plot after Marvel’s relentless effort to plant bogus suppositions surrounding Teen’s origin. The Mephisto-name drop in episode 3 was deliberately placed to fuel fake theories about Teen being Agatha’s son Nicholas Scratch.
Now, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, actor Joe Locke who plays Teen, commented on showrunner Jac Schaeffer’s effort to pitch Teen wouldn’t be Billy, until it was revealed he was. “You can do the most unsurprising thing in the most surprising way, and that’s how you hook an audience,” said Joe Locke and now that the audience is hooked, “the show starts getting real,” he teased.

After the major reveal, the question arises what does Billy Maximoff aka Wiccan want at the end of the road and it isn’t “Power” as teased in the midseason trailer. While breaking down Teen’s story arc, Locked noted, “We now know that he has the ability to cause harm to them (the witches). Therefore, he is now the most powerful person on the Road.”
This changes the group dynamics, thereby creating ample gray areas which his character will tread in the upcoming episodes. “At the end of episode 5, we don’t know what happens to those witches, but he’s not doing a good thing. We played a lot with, does that make him a bad person? Is he a good person? Which then draws parallels to the motherly figures in his life. Wanda does evil things but isn’t necessarily evil,” he said.
Locke continued, “Agatha, questionably, is evil, but there’s more to that, as well. We know that he’s been lying to her, and we play a lot with those dynamics of how duplicitous he is. The facade of the fanboy teen, is that completely fake or is that actually still a real part of him?” These are the things that hold Billy’s future in Agatha All Along.
This is going down in MCU HISTORY as one of the most INSANE reveals of ALL TIME like I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO FUCKING GAGGED #AgathaAllAlong pic.twitter.com/vUzcH68UXb

When discussing his future with the MCU, Locke explained, “In my ideal world, Billy would become the next head of the Avengers and be in every Marvel thing ever, but there are higher things at play. I had the most amazing experience filming Agatha and being a part of the Marvel family and would love to do that until the day I die. But who knows? I don’t. I’m sure someone does.”
