Marvel theorists who placed their bets on Teen being Wiccan aka Billy Kaplan, a sorcerer and the reincarnation of Scarlet Witch’s son, can finally enjoy. Agatha All Along has confirmed the popular Teen theory to be true in episode 5, released Thursday, October 10. The biggest reveal arrives in the plot after Marvel’s relentless effort to plant bogus suppositions surrounding Teen’s origin. With the Mephisto-name drop in episode 3, fans were misled to believe Teen could be Agatha’s son, who she allegedly traded for the Book of the Damned. Now, despite weeks of speculation we finally know Teen is Wiccan.
After the major revelation, Joe Locke, who plays Teen in the Marvel series, revealed on social media he has known Teen’s identity for the past two years. Apparently, the young star has been keeping it a secret from everyone. “2 years of keeping this secret…” Locke, 21, wrote in a post on his Instagram Stories hours after the episode aired.
The moment of Teen’s identity reveal was led by the death of Alice (protection witch) in the new trial of the Witches’ Road. Alice’s powers were fatally absorbed by Agatha, which she claims was unintentional but the damage was done and Teen was furious about it.
He confronted the notorious enchantress in a chilling stardown, reminding her that being a witch doesn’t necessarily mean killing people to fulfill a goal. Agatha gave Teen a wicked smile before saying, “Are you sure? You’re so much like your mother.”
The anger led to the surging of blue chaos magic in Teen’s palm, he pushed Agatha off the road in the sinking mud, followed by Lilia and Jen. As they were absorbed under the ground, a crown appeared on Teen’s head, mirroring that of his mother Scarlet Witch, confirming he was Wiccan all along.
