3,879 students of Presidency University conferred with degrees

The 7th annual convocation of the Presidency University of Bengaluru saw degrees being conferred to 3,879 students, including 75 Ph. Ds and 19 gold medallists.

Chief Guest of the convocation, Rakesh Singh, Chairman of Karnataka Real Estate Regulatory Authority, highlighted the profound transformation India has undergone over the last few decades, particularly in technology, education and healthcare. He advised the students to never forget the sacrifices made by their parents in giving them higher education and emphasised the need to follow the right path to achieve their goals in life.

Nissar Ahmed, Chancellor of the university, Vice Chairman Suhael Ahmed, Vice President Salman Ahmed and others were present.
